LINEARG GO | LHOKSEUMAWE - The Independent Election Commission (KIP) of Lhokseumawe City has conducted the recapitulation and determination of the Temporary Voter List (DPS) for the 2024 general election, totaling 134,255 voters.
"The temporary voter list for Lhokseumawe City currently has 134,255 voters, 65,167 of whom are male and 69,088 are female," said Mulyadi, the Chair of the Socialization, Voter Education, Community Participation, and Human Resources Division of KIP Lhokseumawe, to linear.co.id on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
The temporary voter data was obtained from the verification and study (Coklit) conducted by the Voter Data Update Officers (Pantarlih) of Lhokseumawe City, which took place from April 12 to March 24, 2023.
"Next, it will be inputted into the voter data information system or Sidalih KPU. This is still temporary because there will be improvements," he explained.
Mulyadi continued that the voter data update and compilation of the voter list will take place on June 21st. "According to PKPU 3 of 2022, the Voter Data Update and Voter List Compilation will take place from October 14, 2022, to June 21, 2023," he said.
Furthermore, Mulyadi added that KIP Lhokseumawe has distributed information about the temporary voter data to the community in their respective villages from April 6 to 11, 2023.
"We urge the community to check and examine whether they are already registered in the DPS. If they are not yet registered, they can report themselves to the election organizers (PPS, PPK, KIP) through the community response form," Mulyadi said.
